Redefining Order Management with viax

The Business Challenge

Boston Scientific wanted to move from a complicated, manual order management system (OMS) to a digital one, enabling their buyers to see real-time, customized pricing. A connected OMS also would give BSCI insight and automated management between ERP and PIM systems.

The Solution

BSCI selected modular commerce platform viax for their OMS. Working closely with viax and BSCI, TMG integrated the SAP ERP, PIM, and hybris platforms with the viax solution. Working through APIs and using the same interface, BSCI can now connect their pricing engine to customer profiles.

The Results

BSCI has seen a vast improvement in their customer portal since beginning rollout to select number of customers. A digital OMS allows organizations the flexibility to check pricing, products, and availability on their time, giving the power of the customer journey back to the customer.
